SkinPen is the first microneedling device cleared by the U.S. FDA, clinically proven to safely and effectively treat facial acne scars, stretch marks, wrinkles, hyper-pigmentation, large pores, thin skin, lax skin and loss of resiliency.

With as few as three non-invasive and affordable treatments spaced 30 days apart, you can improve your appearance for six months after your last treatment – and step out with confidence. Available for all skin types.

How it Works?

“Collagen Induction”
The Microneedling device delivery provides unparalleled collagen induction therapy via fractional delivery of needles into the epidermis and dermis. These micro injuries to the skin encourage and harness the power of the body’s innate ability to re-grow and repair the skin through the physiology of collagen induction as it strengthens elastin fibers, stimulates collagen production, fights free radicals and stimulates cellular activity.

The procedure helps loose skin to appear firmer and look younger and healthier, fine lines will be reduced and skin will “glow” as a result of Collagen Induction Treatments. Wrinkles and scars are the most effective complaints successfully treated with this treatment.

What is the downtime?

The treatment requires virtually no downtime because it does not disturb the outer-most layer of skin, while promoting healing and growth in the layers below.

How many treatment do I need?

The micro needling before and afters are typical of a series of treatments where patients experienced four to six treatments spaced out over two to six months.

Contraindications:

The use of SkinPen® SHOULD NOT be used on patients with active skin cancer, keloid scars, scleroderma, collagen vascular diseases or cardiac abnormalities, a hemorrhagic disorder or haemostatic dysfunction, active bacterial, fungal or viral (i.e. herpes, warts) skin infections in the procedure area(s). This procedure is not intended for transdermal (under the skin) delivery of cosmetics.

Precautions and Warnings

Microneedling has not been evaluated in the following patient populations, and as such, precautions should be taken when determining whether the SkinPen procedure is adequate for the patient: scars and stretch marks less than one year old; women who are pregnant or nursing; keloid scars; patients with history of eczema, psoriasis and other chronic conditions; patients with history of actinic (solar) keratosis; patients with history of herpes simplex infections; diabetics or patients with wound-healing deficiencies; patients on immunosuppressive therapy; and skin with presence of raised moles or warts on targeted area.

Side Effects

After the procedure, the skin will be red and flushed in appearance, similar to a moderate sunburn. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on certain areas. This will diminish significantly within a few hours following the procedure. Within the next 24 hours, the skin will have returned to normal. After three days, there is rarely any evidence that the procedure has taken place.

Can I combine Microneedling with other treatments?

Microneedling treatments complement other treatment like, chemical peels, Microdermabrasion, led Light and Botox injections for whole face treatments, revealing astonishing results.
