NOTE before you FLOAT

  • Please do not be freshly shaven prior to floating - cuts or scrapes can sting in the float tank.

    • To prevent stinging, if you have any small cuts or abrasions, you can cover them with a small waterproof bandage or with a bit of Vaseline/Petrolatum Jelly which is provided upon request.

  • Be sure to use the restroom before entering the float room.

  • Please remove all jewelry, makeup, hairpieces, contact lenses, and clothing.

  • There are optional earplugs provided inside the room. If you choose to use them, please be sure to push earplugs well in before showering. Ensure they are tightly sealed. Earplugs will not prevent hearing music in the pod.

    • Please DO NOT try to insert earplugs into wet ears. This may cause damage to the ear drums.

    • Please DO NOT re-insert the earplugs back into ears if they fall into the saltwater. This may cause damage to ear drums.

    • If you choose not to wear earplugs, thoroughly rinse each ear for 5-10 seconds after floating.

  • Shower is equipped with a rainfall showerhead, handheld shower sprayer, and multiple body jets. Please utilize them properly for your comfort and to attain efficient cleansing before and after your float session. Please ask or call attendant if you need help operating the shower panel.

  • Please be thorough while showering. First shower should be at least 5 minutes long to ensure removal of any product or outside elements on body. Shower with soap and wash your hair, without using conditioner. Rinse thoroughly to ensure that no bath products get inside the pod.

  • If floating alone, you do not need to wear swimwear, as you will be alone in the float room. Robes will be available in the float room in case you need to call an attendant for assistance or questions.

  • Please follow these instructions while entering the float tank:

    • Hold the molded grab handles on the side of the pod for stability while entering the pod. Make sure the pod’s door is fully open.

    • Take one step at a time over the low entry threshold.

    • After stepping into the pod, slowly sit on your knees and close the power assisted door using the press buttons on the inside of the pod’s door. You may adjust your preferred door closure position by gradually pressing the ‘close’ button, or you may close it all the way by pressing and holding for 3 seconds then manually pulling down the door for the remainder of the gap. If you wish to open the door again, gently lift the door up and it will automatically retract. If it doesn’t, then press the ‘open’ button located on the door.

    • Move to the center and gently lower your back until you are floating face up. Meanwhile, the salt water should be filling up the pod, elevating you to a Zero-Gravity feeling in just a few minutes.

  • First time floaters may find that using the neck pillow will help them ease into a more relaxed state.

  • To minimize chances of getting saltwater in your eyes:

    • If entering the pod after the water has filled up, make sure to enter as gently as possible to avoid splashing and creating waves.

    • Try not to tilt your head from left to right while floating.

    • At the end of your float, wring your hair out, place a hand on your forehead while sitting up to avoid water running down your face.

    • If you get saltwater in your eyes, use fresh water squirt bottle to spray and washcloth to pat dry.

  • The pod is NOT airtight. You’ll have plenty of air to keep the pod air fresh; an air circulation system brings additional air from the room.

  • For your safety and comfort, the float is equipped with one rubber white button, on the inside. You may Press and Release the center of the button ONCE firmly to turn the pod’s light on/off. Press and Hold button for 3-5 seconds to call attendant for assistance. Attendant will come knocking on the room’s door first, then will come in side.

  • When your float session is over, the float tank’s light will gradually turn on signaling the end of your session followed by the draining process of the saltwater. Please follow these instructions:

    • Sit up slowly, and gently lift the pod’s door until it retracts automatically all the way back to give you access to stand up straight inside the pod.

    • Slowly stand up holding the molded grab handles on the side of the pod for support.

    • Gently wipe as much salt and water off your body with your hands before getting out of the pod to keep as much salt in the pod and to avoid excess drips on the floor.

    • Slowly step out of the pod backwards taking care not to slip. Hold onto the sides of the pod with both hands, as you might feel a bit light-headed for the first few minutes.

    • Go directly to the shower, without using your towel (otherwise it will be full of salt) and wash your hair and body well with the products provided inside the shower.

  • During post-float shower, rinse body, hair, and ears thoroughly to get rid of excess salt.
